Metal Sintered Filter Metal sintered filter is a wire filtering cloth made by pressing multilayers…
What is a Candle Filter?
Candle filter is named for their candle-like shape. These filter elements are usually tubular and made of stainless steel mesh or stainless steel sintered mesh with a cover at the bottom and a threaded connector at the top that connects to the header. The outer surface of some tubes is made of perforated metal sheet, expanded metal, sintered metal or porous ceramic to provide support for the filter media.
The candle filter is located inside the container. It is a compact device that can generally hold 1-20 candles, depending on the size of the filter. The filter element is arranged vertically in the pressure container for filtering liquids with low solid content. Candle filters enable high productivity, dry cake discharge and multiple cake processing options.
